The relaunch comes as public spaces increasingly add single-purpose pole sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity equipment in locations where space is limited. Landscape Forms said demand has grown for fully integrated, multi-function infrastructure that expands site functionality without adding visual clutter or cost. The company positions SHUFFLE as a response to that demand by consolidating advanced capabilities into one adaptable system.

Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular smart-pole system that combines Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities in a single vertical pole. The company said the updated product is intended to help municipalities, campuses and commercial developers add site functions without increasing visual clutter or cost.

The system is designed for straightforward activation and installation, with modular components that can be customized and updated as site needs change. Landscape Forms said the integrated design brings modern aesthetics and operational efficiencies to busy, multi-use environments. The relaunched system is aimed at site managers who need to address safety and connectivity requirements while keeping outdoor spaces accessible, user-friendly and free of unnecessary visual clutter.

Configuration and new modules

Landscape Forms has also added a build feature to its website, allowing clients to specify preferred camera and technology brands and select among options within each category. New plug-and-play feature updates include a 360-degree area light, a decorative light ring, a 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules.

According to Shannon Lee, business development manager for smart poles at Schréder, the system is intended to fit busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as site requirements evolve. Lee said safety and connectivity are integrated into outdoor spaces without dominating them, making the system accessible and user-friendly.

Applications and design intent

SHUFFLE's modular design can be configured for specialized environments and general public spaces. Landscape Forms identified potential uses at university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals. The company said the multi-use adaptability and communication features suit site managers balancing a range of requirements.

Jordan Agustin, president of Lighting at Landscape Forms, said SHUFFLE reflects technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. According to Agustin, the new features enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing the company's mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
